Dennis B. Tilghman

Dennis has been a licensed funeral director since 1996. He is a graduate of Mercer County Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and also their Mortuary Science Program. In 2003 he purchased the funeral home from his father.
Dennis is a member and past president of the Burlington County Funeral Directors Association, the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. He is a member of the Pyramid Lodge #92 F&AM in New Egypt, the Plumsted 2020 Committee and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Plumsted Township Business and Merchants Association. Dennis is also a member of the New Egypt United Methodist Church.
He is married to Mary Ann and has two step sons; Kyle, who is currently pursuing his PhD in Marine Biology at the University of California, Santa Barbara and Tyler, who is a Professional Fireman/EMT in New Jersey. Dennis is a lifetime resident of New Egypt.
