William H. Wright, Jr.

William H. “Bill” Wright, Jr., age 73, long time resident of Brick Township passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. He was born December 21, 1952 to the late William and Margaret Wright.

Bill, a mechanic at Trapani’s in Waretown, had a passion for anything mechanical. He relished fishing and hunting, and he found joy in reading books recommended to him. Bill also enjoyed taking his motorcycle for rides. As a loving partner, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he will be deeply missed.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, William H. and Margaret (nee Hannah) Wright, Sr; and his three siblings, Tommy Wright, Joey Wright, and Donna Wright. He leaves behind his daughter, Jessica Harrison and her husband, Jesse; his two grandson, Lane and Jace; his ex wife, Susan Wright; his life partner and best friend, Lynn Smith; his brother, James Wright and his wife Kathy; and his niece and nephew, Rebecca and Jimmy.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 4 PM to 7 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
