William A. Normile, age 62, a beloved husband, father, and respected member of the New Egypt community, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at Community Medical Center located in Toms River. Born on June 27, 1964, in New York, NY to the late Dorothy (nee Schmidt) Byrnes. Bill spent his life dedicated to his family and his work. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree and enjoyed a successful career as a Distribution Operations Senior Manager with Grainger for 15 years. His leadership and expertise left a lasting impact on the Grainger Community.

Bill was more than just an accomplished professional; he was also a cherished figure in youth sports. His commitment to the community shone through during his time as a soccer, basketball, and T-ball coach. Bill held the position of Vice President of New Egypt Youth Soccer, where his passion for nurturing young talent and fostering a love for sports inspired countless children and their families.

Bill was also an avid fan of Notre Dame and the New York Giants. His passions extended beyond sports; he was a gifted photographer who captured the beauty of life's moments, always eager to document cherished family experiences and his daughters’ sports moments.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Byrnes. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Erin Normile; his two daughters, who were the pride and joy of his life, Mackenzie Normile and her fiancé Brandon Matambo, and Megan Normile; his fur baby, Rudy; his grand pup, Chester; his brother and sister, Thomas Normile and his wife Mary, and Laurie Byrnes; his loving mother and father in law, George and Gerry Lee; his brother in law, Patrick Lee and his wife Denise; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor Reyes, Anthony Reyes, Sarah Crossling (Justin) Elizabeth Normile (Robbie) Patrick Lee, Jr., Thomas Lee and his beloved great niece and nephew Charlotte and Justin Jr.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Bill on Monday, September 14, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM and again at 6 PM to 9 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will begin at 7 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Bill’s name to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
