William Edward "Bill" Hurley, Jr., age 82, resident of New Egypt, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at home. He was born in Trenton, NJ on July 15, 1942 to William and Margaret Hurley. Bill was a member of Building on the Rock Community Church located in Manchester. He worked as a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service. Bill enjoyed metal detecting, gardening, and scratching off lottery tickets. He liked to experiment with different things, such as seeing what fertilizers work best. Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Bill is predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret (nee Emery) Hurley, Sr.; and his brother, Frank Hurley. He leaves behind his three children, William E. Hurley, III and his wife Bridgett, Adam Hurley and wife Diane Lisa, and Wendy Hurley and husband Mike Conroy; sister, Cheryl Springet and her husband Rick; seven grandchildren, Victoria Hurley and Taylor Peterson, Patricia Hurley, Larissa Hurley and Daniel Penuela, Shauna Hurley, Eric Hurley, Joe Conroy, and Vinny Conroy; and his three siblings, Harry Hurley and wife Nancy, Dixie Eden; and Zanetta Harrington and husband Joe; and sister-in-law, Diane Hurley.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Bill on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 2 PM to 3 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A funeral service will start at 2:30 PM at the funeral home with interment to follow at 3:30 PM at Zion Cemetery located on Lakewood Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
