Virginia Newman, age 77, longtime resident of Browns Mills, formerly of New Egypt and Cookstown, passed away on Saturday, 17, 2024 at Total Rehab in Moorestown, NJ. She was born on December 27, 1946 in Trenton to the late Harry and Eva (nee Cook) Malsbury. Virginia worked as a housekeeper for over 20 years at Days Inn in Bordentown. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching classic TV shows. Virginia loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Virginia was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Harvey Newman; and her great-granddaughter, Nevaeh; her two brothers, Freddie Cook, and George Malsbury; and her brother-in-law, Keith Ziegler. She leaves behind her three sons, Glen Newman of Browns Mills, N.J., Michael Newman, and Kevin Newman and wife Michele of Dawsonville, G.A.; her six grandchildren, Robert and wife Dana, Kristina and husband Leon Medina, Lisa and husband Joshua, Sheryl and husband Uri, Donna, and Cathy; nine great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Harry Jr. and wife Mary of Wernersville, P.A., Bonnie Ziegler of Myerstown, P.A., Ellie Smith and husband Wayne of Lititiz, P.A. and her sister-in-law Gayle Malsbury of Rehrersburg P.A.

Funeral services are being held privately at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
