Obituary

VeeAnn Argento-Grant, age 69, longtime resident of New Egypt, formerly of Manahawkin and Lakewood, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Manhattan, New York on June 25, 1955 to the late Gerald and Jessie Argento. VeeAnn liked taking trips to the beach. She loved cooking, especially Italian food because of her Italian heritage. VeeAnn did a lot of traveling when she was younger. She enjoyed taking care and spending time with her grandson. VeeAnn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed.


VeeAnn is predeceased by her parents, Gerald and Jessie (nee Bryson) Argento. She leaves behind her beloved husband of 24 years, Curt Grant; her two children, Micheal Grant, Nicholas Grant; and her three step- children, Curt Grant and wife Kelly, Thomas Grant, and Patricia Hatab and husband Sharif; her five grandchildren, Colton, Alexanda, Isabella, Raelyn, and Charlotte; her three siblings, Sharon Linnell, Greg Argento and wife Melissa, and Gerald Argento and wife Donna; and several nieces and nephews.


Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for VeeAnn on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Atkinson Hall located at 9 Fort Ave New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will be held private.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be in VeeAnn's name to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org/donate/.


All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
