Thomas J. Karycinski, age 82, of Jackson, formerly of Browns Mills, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025. Born in Hoboken , he lived in Browns Mills for many years before moving to Jackson.

Thomas worked as a painter for District Council 711 Local #1331 before retiring. Thomas served in the US Army during the Vietnam War; he was a volunteer for the Coast Guard Auxiliary, working on the SS New Jersey in Camden. He enjoyed wood working, boating, and attempting to fix anything that was broken. Thomas loved his wife and family dearly.

Predeceased by his wife Christa in 2023; he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kirsten and Evan Hill; his brothers, Andrew and Edward; and his niece Fran and nephew Robert.

A committal service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at 11:30am in the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
