Steven D. Wright, age 39, longtime resident of North Hanover, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly. He was born on February 5, 1984 in Mt. Holly to Dewayne and Johanna (nee Gilbert) Wright. Steven enjoyed working with computers. He could take them apart and put them back together with no problem. Steven liked cars and going fishing. He was very much loved by his mother and father. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Steven is predeceased by his brother, Dewayne J. Wright; and aunts and uncles, Eddie Gilbert, Johnny Gilbert, Jeffrey Gilbert, and Nancy Wright. He leaves behind his parents, Dewayne and Johanna Wright; his siblings, Kevin Wright and wife Alice, and Sandra Spencer and husband Greg; and his aunts and uncles; William Gilbert and wife Jessica, Michael Gilbert and wife Maria, Matthew Gilbert and wife Lucia, Wayne Gilbert, Cynthia Ann Gilbert, Sam Wright and wife Kenna, Burlin Wright and wife Kathy, Thomas Wright and Walter Wright.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10:00am at the Jacobstown Baptist Church, with interment to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lumberton.
