Stephen John Horrocks, age 77, of Surfside Beach, SC passed away Saturday, April 27 at his residence. Born in Trenton, John was a resident of Cream Ridge before moving to Surfside Beach four years ago. Before his retirement, John worked as an electrician with the IBEW Union Local 269 in Trenton. He enjoyed classic cars and was a member of the Capital City Corvette Club in Trenton. John was predeceased by his parents, Luella and Stephen John Horrocks. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Fay (Hay) Horrocks; a son Timothy Horrocks and wife Julia of Richmond, VA; a daughter, Michele Toscano of Chesterfield, NJ; a sister, Alda Bates of Vineland, NJ and three grandchildren, Kyle Blazic of Queens, NY, Joseph Toscano of Whitewright, TX and Leah Toscano of Chesterfield, NJ. Funeral services for John will be held on Friday, May 3 at 11:30 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with burial to follow in the Cream Ridge Cemetery in Cream Ridge. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
