Samuel Harry "Sam" DiStefano, age 55, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at Samaritan Center at Voorhees. He was born June 4, 1966 in Mount Holly to John and Joan DiStefano. Sam was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. Samuel played pool for most of his life and was a very established player. Sam loved going fishing any chance he got, especially day boating trips. One of Sam's favorite pass times was taking long car rides, drinking coffee, and hanging out with his dogs. One of the most interesting things about him was he was ready for any spontaneous event, all you had to do was ask. Sam is predeceased by his mom, Joan Marie DiStefano (nee Hopkins). He leaves behind his three children, Anthony, Ashley, and Andrea; his father, John DiStefano, Sr.; his sister Doris Trainer and husband James; his brother, John DiStefano, two nephews,Michael and John-John; and his granddaughter . He will forever be loved and missed. A funeral service for Sam will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 2 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery located at 49 Jacobstown Arneystown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
