Rose Lombardi Accaria

Age 92 of Jackson, NJ passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024. As a longtime resident of Newark, NJ, she raised her family and was a devoted parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Church. She sang in the choir and was employed by St. Francis to sing at weddings and funerals.

Rose then relocated to the Jersey shore in 2001. She was a member of St. Joseph's church in Toms River and became a third order Carmelite. She sang at the level of elite amateur, which included arias from Madame Butterfly, La Boheme and Amal and the Night visitors. Rose also sang in the church Broadway musicals presented in her church parish. Her rendition of Ave Maria was a favorite of her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her former husband Louis P. Accaria, her siblings and her son Louis S. Accaria and her granddaughter Christina Valentine

She is survived by her children Phillip, Daniel, and daughter Elaina Accaria Valentine and her husband William Valentine. She leaves behind nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

A memorial mass and celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 10:00am at St Joseph RC Church in Toms River.
