Robert J. Duffy, age 86, long time resident of Cream Ridge, formerly of Old Bridge, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Deborah Hospital in Browns Mills. He was born on January 12, 1936 in Scranton, PA to the late James and Margaret (nee Habeeb) Duffy. Robert was an avid sports fan, especially his NFL Washington Redskins, and his New York Yankees. He was a member of Friendly Sons of Shillelagh out of Old Bridge. Robert enjoyed cooking, and loved when his family all got together. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend that will be deeply missed.


Robert was predeceased by his parents, James and Margaret Duffy. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 67 years, Barbara Duffy of Cream Ridge; his five children, Susan Luberto and husband Ben of Hamilton, Barbara Trester and husband Jerry of Monroe, Linda Duffy of Cranberry, Michael Duffy of Cream Ridge, and Robert Duffy and wife Lisa of Lodi; his nine grandchildren; and his three great-grandchildren; and his dear friends, Bob and Kathy Branco of Millstone, and Henry and Bernice Dilello of AZ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Church of Assumption, 28 Monmouth Road, New Egypt Road, NJ (Google map list town as Wrighstown).
