Rick M. Gallagher, age 60, of Wrightstown passed away Monday, September 14 at Cooper University Hospital in Camden. Born in Bucks County, PA, he was a lifetime Wrightstown area resident. Rick was a 1979 graduate of Northern Burlington Regional High School and worked as a mail carrier for the Wrightstown Post Office. He was an exempt member of the Wrightstown Vol. Fire Dept. Rick played Little League Baseball in his early years and also enjoyed playing softball and volleyball. He liked to play pool and darts with his friends and was an avid golfer. Rick was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all. Rick was predeceased by his father, Owen Gallagher and by a brother, John Gallagher. He is survived by his mother, Marion (Van Sciver) Gallagher of Springfield Twp.; four siblings, Robert Gallagher and wife Evelyn, Suzanne Heisler, Patricia Bell and Wayne Gallagher all of Wrightstown and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. Funeral services for Rick will be held on Friday, September 25 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with burial to follow in the Upper Springfield Cemetery in Springfield Twp. Calling hours will be on Friday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Face coverings and social distancing are required at the funeral home with a maximum of 25 people allowed in at a time.
