Richard D. "Rick" Gibbs, age 62, longtime resident of Chesterfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. He was born in Trenton on June 4, 1962 to George and Kay Gibbs. Rick worked as a self-employed landscaper who loved mowing grass. He liked basketball, volleyball, and softball. Rick adored his grandkids, and spending time with his family. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.

Rick is predeceased by his father, George Gibbs, and his brother and sister, Edward Gibbs, and Kathy Krupa. He leaves behind his three children, Jennifer Rotsides and husband Andy, Jessica Gibbs, and Richard Gibbs and wife Chelsea; his eight grandchildren, Steven, Samantha, Levi, Vega, Nora, Ava, Lyra, and one on the way; his mother, Kay Gibbs; his three siblings, George Gibbs, Cindy McKeen and husband Michael, and Nancy Kohlmayer and husband George; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering for Rick on Monday, February 17, 2025 from 3PM to 6PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. A service will begin at 6PM on at the funeral home.
