Richard L. Davis, age 72, longtime resident of Browns Mills, formerly of Mount Holly, passed away Friday, Decemeber 16, 2022 at home. He was born on March 24, 1950 in Mount Holly to the late Alfred and Mary (nee Malsbury) Davis. Richard worked in the food services department at a nursing home in Whiting. He also worked on a horse farm, and was a custodian for Burlington County Special Service School. Richard enjoyed going bowling and fishing, and doing scratch offs. He liked to watch the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Richard was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Richard is predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary Davis; and his parents, Alfred and Mary Davis. He leaves behind his three children and four step-children, Sharon Davis and husband Eric Hardin of Browns Mills, Richard Davis, Jr. of Florida, and Wayne Davis of North Carolina, Tina Granberry and Timothy of Brown Mills, Tammy Hardin and husband Daryl of Browns Mills, Valarie Granberry and husband Mark of Pemberton, and Mary Hagar of Pemberton; his grandchildren, Destiny Hardin, Eric Hardin, Jr., Briana Hardin, Rashawn Davis, Amia Davis, Wayne Davis Jr., Keri Davis, Raven Davis, Maurice, Jermine, Shawnna, Mercedes, Mark Jr. Keisha, Nathaniel, Karrem, Steven, Loron, Sherry, Crystal, Ciera; his siblings, Bertha, Maryann, Glen, Ed, and Sam; and his former wife, Susan Davis.

A memorial service for Richard will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 starting at 11AM to 12PM at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with interment to follow at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery located at 49 Jacobstown Arneytown Road, Wrightstown.
