Rachel Hunsher, age 95, long time resident of North Hanover, formerly of New Egypt and New Brunswick, passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Serenity Hospice in Hamilton, NJ. She was born on June 18, 1929 in New Brunswick to Issac and Anna Mordoh. Rachel liked to sing and go dancing, especially jitterbug and tap dancing. She was an animal lover. Rachel loved taking care of her children, and grandchildren. She was always flirting with all the men she came in contact with; saying they all had nice "tushy's". Rachel enjoyed going to bingo, auctions, and the New Egypt and Columbus Flea Markets. She had a special bond with anyone that she met. Rachel was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Rachel is predeceased by her parents, Issac and Anna Mordoh; her grandson, Gary Troxel; her son, Lance R. Hunsher; and her siblings, Dave Mordoh, Red Mordoh, Moe Mordoh, Goldie Kuhn, and Mary Wishinsky. She leaves her daughters, June Troxel and husband Gary, Doris Hensely and husband Ronnie "aka Rachel's boyfriend", and Lisa Cole and husband Billy; her grandchildren, Sara Hunsher Causey, Janine Troxel, Lindsey Troxel, Corrine Hunsher, Caylee Hunsher, Briell Hunsher, Tyler Hunsher, Dillon Hunsher, Jayden Hunsher, Caleb, Keira, Joey, Jianna, Jayce and Mason; her four great-grandchildren, Gracelin Marie, Xzaryah, Maliyah, and Charlotte; and her nieces and nephews, Arnie, Mark, Ina, Michelle, Stewart, April, Ellen, Fern, Ilene, Nathan, Alyse, and Donna; and her great-niece, Ginette Patrick.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service for Rachel on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Jacobstown Cemetery located at 29 Schoolhouse Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
