Patricia A. Furey, age 65, long time resident of North Hanover formerly of Howell passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick Township. She was born in Long Branch, NJ on April 17, 1957 to the late James and Anneliese (nee Storch) Furey. Patricia loved spending time with her great-nieces and nephews. She was a loving sister, aunt, and great-aunt, and friend that will be deeply missed.


Patricia is predeceased by her parents, James and Anneliese Furey; and her brothers and sisters, Michael Furey, James Furey, Mary Stefanick, lilian Zduniack, Paul Furey and life partner Thomas Atkinson. She leaves behind her siblings, John Furey and wife Dorothy of Howell, William Furey and wife Claudia of Florida, Roy Furey and wife Ronda of Bayville, and Shirley Furey of Lancaster; her nieces and nephews, Paul Furey and wife Amber of Maryland, Ryan Furey and wife Yajaira of Lancaster, Tiffany Smith and husband Bryson of Sewell, and Anneliese Furey of Columbus; her great-nieces and nephews, Morgan, Kennedy, Paola, Jeremy, Ryan, Carson, Colbie, and Paisley; and her companion Michael Lombardo.


A memorial service for Patricia will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at the funeral home.
