Muriel Summerfield joined her husband Al in the early hours of January 20th, a few days shy of her 81st birthday.

She was a Jersey girl who only recently moved to Arizona. She loved her work at McGuire AFB, vacations with her best friend Sherry, music, singing, wordsearch, puzzles and bingo. Although dementia got the best of her at the end, she had a smile for anyone and was friendly and loving with her caregivers.

She leaves behind her son Tedd (Maryanne), and granddaughters Breanna & Samantha, plus many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, January 26, 2024 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ. Burial will be on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 11:00am in the Old Tennent Cemetery, 454 Tennent Rd. Manalapan, NJ. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home on Saturday at 10:00am.
