Michael T. Furey, age 60, longtime area resident of Wrightstown, formerly of Howell, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born in Long Branch, NJ on May 20, 1961 to the late James and Anneliese (Storch) Furey. Michael enjoyed fixing things and he could build almost anything. He loved telling jokes, playing cards, chess, and dominos. Michael was a father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend that will be deeply missed. Michael is predeceased by his parents, James and Anneliese Furey; his two brothers, James Furey and Paul Furey; and his two sisters, Mary Stefanick, and Lillian Zduniak. He leaves behind his two daughters, Jaclyn Holland and husband Jared of Matawan, and Ashley Loehmann of Toms River; his three brothers, John Furey and wife Dorothy of Howell, William Furey and wife Claudia of Florida, and Roy Furey and wife Ronda of Bayville; his two sisters, Patricia Furey of Wrightstown, and Shirley Furey of Lancaster, and six grandchildren. A memorial service for Michael will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 7:30 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Calling hours will be from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the funeral home.
