Our beloved mother and wife, Maria Joyce Paciotti passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 at 86 years old. Maria was born in Scranton, Pa to John and Angela Glooch on January 21, 1937 and she grew up in Throop, Pa. Deeply religious, Maria devoted her life to her family and her faith. Later in life when her children were grown, she worked as a bank teller for BB&T Bank for many years before retiring. She was an active member of the Church of the Assumption Parish of St. Isidor the Farmer, New Egypt, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. Maria was an amazing cook, she enjoyed reading, getting together with her friends from the book club, and going to bingo. But her greatest joy was spending time with her devoted husband and her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Maria leaves behind her beloved husband of 67 years, Leonard; her daughter, Cynthia Kinney and her husband Douglas Kinney of Pt. Pleasant, and her daughter, Linda Paciotti of Lawrenceville; her brother, John Glooch; and her cherished grandchildren, Melanie Kinney, Andrew and Kristy Kinney; along with her great grandchildren, Madeline, Henry, and Amelia.

Maria was a blessing to all who knew her. She was a positive, kind, giving and thoughtful soul. Her light will shine in our hearts forever.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:00am from the Church of the Assumption, Parish of St. Isidor the Farmer, 28 Monmouth Road, Wrightstown, NJ. Burial will follow in the Assumption Cemetery, Evergreen Road, New Egypt.
