Madge L. Aleshire, age 95, of Columbus and formerly of Wrightstown and Cookstown, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Burlington Woods Healthcare in Burlington Twp. She was born on June 1, 1926 in Fauquier County, VA to the late James and Annie (Payne) Slack. Madge enjoyed sewing, and doing puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed. Madge is predeceased by her beloved husband, William L. Aleshire, Sr.; and her parents James and Annie Slack. She leaves behind her two sons, William L. Aleshire Jr. and wife Cheryl of Mt. Holly, and Larry Aleshire and wife Marina of Grand Prairie, TX; her two daughters, Cynthia Seldin and husband Steven of Jacobstown, and Tina Baumgartner and husband Jon of Julistown; her four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her brother Ranni Slack of Edinburg, VA. Family and friends are invited for a graveside service that will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 11 AM at Upper Springfield Cemetery located at 121 Highland Rd, Jobstown, NJ 08041.
