Madeline Reed, a lifelong resident of Jacobstown, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 6. She was 93. Madeline, affectionately known as Sissy; loved animals, enjoyed cooking and baking, and was an avid Phillies fan. She worked for Ocean Spray as a factory worker for 40 years before retiring in 1993.

Madeline leaves behind a large and loving family who adored her and will miss her dearly; Robert and Kay Emery of New Egypt, Pat and Ed Earley of Jacobstown, Gerald and Alec Emery of Naples, FL, Elaine Denelsbeck of Cookstown, Anna Emery of New Egypt, Michelle and Taylor Czarnecki of Cookstown, Kiyomi Locker of New Egypt, Daryl and Jessica West of Cookstown, and Lora and Ron Kerins of Brookhaven, PA.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 10, at 11:00am in the Jacobstown Cemetery, Schoolhouse Rd., Jacobstown.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt.
