Julia "Judy" M. Stimpson, age 86, of Wrightstown, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mt. Holly, NJ. She was born in Joplin, MO and later moved to Wrightstown. Judy worked as a school bus driver for Northern Burlington for over 25 years before she retired. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed. Judy is predeceased by her parents, her husband Sam Stimpson, Jr. and her son Wayne. She is survived by her daughter Gwen Ackerman of Wrightstown; her son Ron Stimpson and his wife Rebecca of Troy, IL; her sister Sue Wilson; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As per Judy's wishes, cremation will be held privately. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:30am at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Judy's memory to a cancer charity of your choice.
