Judith "Judy" M. Copeland

Judy Copeland, age 83, of Pemberton, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was born March 12, 1941, in Mt. Holly, New Jersey, to the late Hilda and Roscoe Forman. Judy was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Judy was known for her outgoing personality and helpful nature. She was a social butterfly, always the life of the party, and had a contagious smile. Judy was very outspoken and was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

In her career, Judy worked as an Assembler at Magic Marker in Trenton, New Jersey, and dedicated over 20 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the healthcare system at Logan Manor/AristaCare in Whiting, New Jersey. She retired at the age of 72.

Outside of work, Judy enjoyed dancing, crocheting, gardening, and playing Spades. She was an avid sports fan, She loved her Dallas Cowboys.

Judy is survived by her brother, James "Jimmy" Forman of Browns Mills, New Jersey; her son, Phillip Johnson and his wife Tina of Pemberton, New Jersey; grandsons, Dennis Anderson of Atlanta, Georgia, Allec Johnson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Tyrone Gittens and wife Kiran; great-granddaughter, Zynovia of Cinnaminson, New Jersey; granddaughters, Ashaunte' Norman of Pemberton, New Jersey, Ramona Lenard and great-granddaughter Kira of Germany; as well as a host of beloved nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her siblings, Roscoe "Dickie" Forman, Janet Goode, Eleanor Forman, Ruth Laster, Shirley Lomax, and Mary Davis; her sons, Dennis Forman, Randy Forman, Tyrone Johnson, and William Johnson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service for Judy on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with interment to follow at Jacobstown Baptist Cemetery located at 49 Jacobstown Arneytown Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562. Calling hours will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
