Joan E.(Danser) Gruca age 84 passed away on December 25th, 2021. Her last days were spent at home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born February 15th 1937 in the Red Valley area of Cream Ridge NJ. She married her high school sweetheart Andy Gruca and the inseparable couple lived 62 years together in the Allentown area.

Joan was a "people" person who worked many years in the banking industry. She then moved on to her beloved Cracker Barrel job, where she thrived at greeting old and new friends. Her Cracker Barrel family,composed of , co-workers and patrons, who became very near and dear to her heart.

Daughter of the late Hiram and Marion Danser, sister to the late Dorothy Johnson, Joan is survived by her daughter Cheryl Correa, son and daughter-in-law Andy (Cheryl) Gruca, sister Shirley Polhemus, brother and sister-in-law Wesley (Linda) Danser.

Her grandchildren are Larry Correa (Maria Matos-Chois) (ex wife Marta Montoya), Kristy (Kai) Benjamin, Kyle Gruca (Rebekah Biddulph), Casey (Josh) Wayne, Fredy and Henry Montoya. Great grandchildren include Brianna (Justin) Addison, Kahealani Benjamin, Kainoa Benjamin, Audrey Wayne and Clay Wayne. She was also blessed with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 3 PM at the New Egypt Methodist Church-Atkinson Hall located at 9 Fort Ave, New Egypt, NJ 08533. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
