Jill Miller, age 58, passed away peacefully at home on April 11, 2023 surrounded by her family. Jill loved life and fought hard until the very end to spend time with those who mean most to her. She was the life of the party and never met a stranger. Jill loved any reason to celebrate with a theme, Roy's margaritas and trashy TV.

Born in South River, she was a longtime resident of Cookstown. Jill worked in the North Hanover Township School District for many years where she took great pride in working with children of all ages. Jill was always giving back to the community from the PTO to VFW Post 6590. In recent years, Jill has led her Relay for Life team, Millerstrong, in raising thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.

Survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Roy; daughter Stacey and son-in-law Brian; son, Rusty and his partner Dirk; brother, James Johnson and sister Jodi Johnson. She leaves behind three granddaughters whom she adored, Tricia June, Grace Elizabeth, and Kady Marie and many relatives and special friends she considered family.

Jill's memory will be honored on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at VFW Post 6590 in Cookstown, NJ. Calling hours will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM with a celebration of life to follow. Everyone who made Jill's life brighter is welcome. Jill's request was for all to come as they are. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jill's memory can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center.
