Jean M. Brown, age 79, of Cream Ridge passed away Friday, October 12 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Cream Ridge since 1972 and formerly lived in Cranbury. Jean enjoyed gardening, reading, painting and caring for the area stray cats. She was predeceased by her husband, John H. Brown and three siblings, Peggy Kozemchak, Richard Cowell and John Cowell. Jean is survived by a son, Keith Fricke of Cream Ridge; a daughter, Cindy Fricke and fiance Pauly Rutzler of East Windsor; a sister, Joyce Marhevka of Roseville, CA and her grandchildren, Erich Fricke, Andrew Fricke, Sarah Van Hest and husband Joe, Crystal Willey, Amber Willey and Emerald Willey and her great grandchildren, James Willey, Eli Fricke, Alyssa Van Hest, Alana Van Hest, Rayne Van Hest and Ryan Van Hest. A memorial service for Jean will be held on Thursday, October 18 at 12:30 PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 (www.TilghmanFH.com) with burial to follow in the BGWCD Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home.
