James R. Ridgway, age 75, resident of Browns Mills, formerly of New Egypt, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. He was born in Mt. Holly on December 25, 1948 to Clarence and Hilda Marie Ridgway. James worked as a mechanic for Lustgarten Farms and Nursery in Cream Ridge. He liked to go fishing, hunting, and camping. James loved NASCAR and drag racing. He enjoyed taking trips to Lancaster, PA and watching football with his two sons. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend that will be deeply missed.

James is predeceased by his mother, Hilda Marie Ridgway; and his brother, Clarence "Junior" Ridgway. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 56 years, Jennie Ridgway (nee Southard); his two sons, John Wayne Ridgway, and Jim Bob Ridgway and wife Paige; and his six grandchildren, Jessica, Jenna, Marissa and husband Bryan, Emma, Hayden, and Austin; and his nephew Jimmy Dean Ridgway.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation for James on Friday, November 1, 2024 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Sharing of memories by friends and family will take place at 11:30 AM, with interment to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pemberton, NJ 08068.
