James "Jimmy" Merlucci, age 49, of New Egypt, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a longtime resident of New Egypt. Jimmy loved surf fishing, traveling, cooking and coaching his boys' soccer and basketball teams; but most of all, he was a proud dad and he cherished spending time with his family.

Jimmy was predeceased by his mother, Leslie; he is survived by his father, Thomas; his beloved wife of 18 years, Liz; his sons, Ryan Joseph (Brianna), and Thomas; his brother Danny; his nephew Zachary, and his nieces, Alexandra and Madyson.

Relatives and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533. A Funeral Service will begin at 7:30pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Acute Myeloid Leukemia Research Foundation at leukemiarf.org in memory of Jimmy.
