Obituary

Howard Paul Awramko, age 70, of Parsippany, peacefully passed away on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. He was born in Paterson, NJ to the late Howard and Helen Awramko on October 29, 1949. After high school, Howard enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. After returning to the states, he attended William Paterson University. Howard worked very hard all his life as a roofer and later became the owner of his own company. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, baseball and hockey. Howard was also an amazing bowler years ago. He was an extremely generous man who will be deeply missed. Howard is predeceased by his parents; his brother Eric Awramko; and his sister Kathy Bethell. He leaves behind his three daughters, Jeanette Awramko and significant other Trenton Henspeter of Hopkins MN, Kimberly Awramko and significant other Manuel Velasco of El Cajon CA, and Christine Awramko of Denville NJ; his dear friend Janet Ferreira of Manchester NJ; and his brother Paul Awramko. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, located at 1070 Hooper Avenue, Toms River NJ 08753. A funeral service will begin at 10:30AM with interment to follow at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, located at 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown NJ 08562. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Howard's memory to the Heart Failure Society of America, 9211 Corporate Blvd., Suite 270 Rockville, MD 20850.
