Heidi Dechert, age 73, a lifelong resident of Browns Mills, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at home. She was born in Worms, Germany to the late William and Paula Stuber on August 29, 1946. Heidi worked as a machine operator for Plastic Molds in Cranbury for several years until her retirement. She was a very private person and enjoyed surrounding herself with family and a small group of close friends. Heidi was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Heidi is predeceased by her parents and by her sister Ingrid Prufer. She leaves behind her three children, John Dechert and wife Diane of Barnegat, New Jersey, Michael Dechert of Mansfield, Ohio and Steven Dechert and wife Teresa of Parsippany, New Jersey, by her six grandchildren, Stephanie, Kristen, Steven Jr., Matthew, Zachery and Jessica; and her beloved companion "Scooter". Services for Heidi are being held at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, New Jersey.
