December 12, 1963 – May 9, 2026

Heidi Lynn Borden, a woman of boundless creativity and deep faith, passed away on May 9, 2026, at the age of 62. A 1983 graduate of Allentown High School, Heidi went on to earn her degree from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she was among the last to graduate from its Theatre Arts program. A writer, author, actress, director, singer, and designer, she was a true Renaissance spirit whose gifts touched everyone around her. Heidi's published books — available on Amazon — were written to bring joy, kindness, and tenderness to readers of all ages. Her faith was equally central to her life. Through her YouTube channel, WildflowerChristian, she created short films devoted to the glory of God, and her heartfelt rendition of Amazing Grace remains a treasured gift to all who hear it.

She is survived by her son, Tristan Haines of Tyler, TX; her brother, Shawn Borden of Collegeville, PA; her sisters, JoAnn Sklar of Toms River, NJ, Terry Richards of Lindale, TX, and Robin Anderson of Mt. Laurel, NJ; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Borden (née Stillwell) and Belford I. Borden, and her brothers Randy, Scott, and Belford.Heidi Lynn Borden leaves behind a legacy written in stories, sung in grace, and lived in love.
