Gwendolyn L. (nee Stimpson) Ackerman, age 73, resident of North Hanover, formerly of Howell, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at home. She was born on December 16, 1949 to the late Sam and Julia (nee Bowers) Stimpson. Gwen enjoyed crocheting and sewing. She had a passion for helping handicapped children. Gwen was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Gwen was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Julia Stimpson; and by her brother Wayne Gibbons. She leaves behind her sons, Kirt Ferrell, Frederick Ferrell, and William Ferrell; her brother, Ronald Stimpson; two grandchildren; a niece Vicky; and her friend, Jeffery Correa.

Funeral Services are being held privately at the convenience of the family. All arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home located in New Egypt, NJ.
