Gloria R Rothgeb, age 80, of Canton OH and formerly of Whiting NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 6 2019 with her family by her side. She was born in Trenton, NJ on May 12, 1938 to Joseph and Elizabeth Doublisky. Gloria married Ray Rothgeb on July 2, 1960 and the couple had 4 children. She loved being a homemaker and took great pride in her home and her family. She was a longtime member of the New Egypt Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and loved participating in the Firehouse oyster dinners. She also loved working part time in the Harry Wright Hardware Store in New Egypt, NJ. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Ray A Rothgeb; her son Ray Matthew Rothgeb; sister Marlene Hilbert; brother Joseph Doublisky; grandson Wyatt Beall; son-in-law David Beall and daughter-in-law Lori Rothgeb. She leaves behind her 2 sons, David Rothgeb of Mercerville NJ and Mark Rothgeb and wife Kimberly of Canton OH; her daughter Karen Beall of Fairfield Pa; grandchildren Matt and Molly Rothgeb and Sam and Faith Beall. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 2PM to 4PM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, located at 52 Main St, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Burial will take place on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:30AM at the Bordentown Cemetery.
