Francis E. Betts, Jr., age 56, longtime resident of Pemberton Township, passed away on July 23, 2025 at Jersey City Medical Center. He was born on September 21, 1968 to the late Judith and Francis Betts, Sr. Eddie was a lifelong self-employed auto mechanic. He was a die-hard Philadelphia sports fan. Eddie enjoyed watching NASCAR, and listening to music. He liked playing chess, and going fishing. Eddie was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Eddie is predeceased by his parents, Francis and Judith (Matthews) Betts; and his brother, Robert Betts. He leaves behind his three children, Erica Rye, Andrew Betts, and Kyle Betts; his two granddaughters, Amaya, and Kayla; his sister, Sandi Minsky; his niece and nephew, Sara Minsky and Jeffrey Will, Jr.; his dear friend, Judy Ketterman; and his favorite dog, Sadie Mae.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533. A service will begin at 6:30 PM at the funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Eddie's name to the VFW Post 6805 located at 247 Mt. Misery Road Browns Mills, NJ 08015.
