Evelyn Jacob, 87, of Barnegat NJ passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Born in Fords NJ to her late parents, Peter and Margaret Stefan.

Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother and business woman. She loved giving of her time, talents, and treasures to the many charities that she supported. For many years Evelyn helped raise money for the Friendship Center. A Christian non-profit outreach ministry for young single mothers.

She is predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Robert W Jacob passing away just seven months prior.

Surviving are her three loving daughters, Jill Ralston, Beth DeStefano, and Amy Forshew and husband Keith; eight cherished grandchildren; Jamie Montie, Jeffrey Ralston, Julie Ralston, Bryana DeStefano, Brooke Conte, Bryson DeStefano, Elena Forshew, Benjamin Forshew; and two great-grandchildren, Cora Montie and Colin Montie.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation and memorial service for Evelyn on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 10:30am until 1:30pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main St, New Egypt, NJ. Interment to follow located at William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ.
