Ernest A. Greene, Jr., age 69, of Cookstown passed away Saturday, November 11 at Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. Born at Fort Lee, VA, he was a lifetime Cookstown area resident. Ernie was a graduate of Allentown, NJ High School and was employed in the asphalt industry, most recently with Eric's Paving in Browns Mills. He enjoyed reading, writing and singing and was very outgoing and could easily make friends with people. Ernie was predeceased by his parents, Ernest A. and Helen (Shaw) Greene, Sr.; his brother, Kevin Greene and his son, Ernest A. Greene III. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Greene of Philadelphia and three grandchildren, Carey Greene, Keyaria Gariss and Tyaria Gariss. A memorial service for Ernie will be held on Saturday, December 2 at 11:00 AM at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533, with calling hours from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown
