Emma Rosenbeck Horner, 98, of Lexington, North Carolina, peacefully went home to be with her Lord at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston Salem, on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Born February 2, 1926, in Bavia, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Jakob Rosenbeck and Lina Schohtel Rosenbeck.

She was a seamstress for Switlik Parachute Company, in Trenton, New Jersey, for 21 years. She was a member of the SPCA, National Humane Society, and Smile Ships.

She leaves behind her daughter, Susanne Jensen; four grandchildren, Earl Raynor (Marlena), Christopher Raynor (Tara), Joshua Murisan (Caitlyn), Alexander Jensen; and seven great grandchildren; Malik, Callisto, Tristan, Zoey, Ava, Anatasia, and CJ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Horner, one grandson, Cross Murisan, three brothers and two sisters.

Services will be held at a later date.

All arrangements are under the direction of Davie Burial and Cremation Service, Mocksville, NC.
