Eleanor V. Sager, age 93, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Masonic Home in Burlington. Born in Burlington Twp. to the late Charles and Alice (Parker) Shinn, she was a resident of Upper Freehold Twp. before moving to the Masonic Home three years ago. Eleanor was an amazing cook and enjoyed entertaining her family and spending time with her friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Tilton W. Sager; two children, Marie Sager and Leland Sager and two brothers, Maurice and Bud Shinn. Eleanor is survived by two daughters, June Ingling and husband Keith of Allentown and Connie Luggi of Jackson; three brothers, Roy Shinn of Erie, PA, David Shinn and wife Bertha of Washington DC and Donald Shinn and wife Barbara of Erie, PA; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Eleanor will be held on Tuesday, January 14 at 11:45 AM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Eleanor's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org/give).
