Eleanor T. Herm, age 92, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born in Singac, NJ, she lived in northern New Jersey for many years before moving to Columbus. Eleanor and her husband Gene owned and operated DeGroots Deli in Bloomingdale, NJ for many years before retiring.

Eleanor is survived by her husband Eugene; her children and their spouses; Heidi and Jim LaRusso, and Peter Herm and Lenka Lazorikova; and her grandchildren, Maria Herm, and Julianna and Christian LaRusso.

A committal service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022 at 11:30am at the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery 350 Provinceline Rd. Wrightstown.
