Edward Allen Davenport the late son of George and Besty Davenport. He was born on February 1st, 1923 and fell asleep in death on February 16th, 2021. He was born in Philadelphia where he met and married Mary Delsina Selby to this union 9 children were born; Brenda, Kenny, Sheila, Denise, Helen, Edward Jr., Tyrone, Bruce, and Steve. He was predeceased in death by his wife Mary Delsina Davenport, his children Rossane, Allen, Kenny, and Steve. He received his education in Philadelphia and then went on to serve his Country in the United State Army. He was a loving, caring and devoted dad, granddad, and great-grandfather. When you spoke to him you could expect a laugh. He also liked to joke with you. He told great stories about his time in the military. He also loved playing cards. He was definitely a family man.
