Edna Ann Gilbert, age 70, of Browns Mills passed away Tuesday, June 18 at AristaCare in Whiting. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident. Edna worked as a nurse's aide at King James Care Center in Hamilton and also worked as a housekeeper for the Day's Inn in Wrightstown. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, puzzle books, listening to music and pets. Edna was predeceased by her parents, Leroy and Helen (Matlack) Gilbert and by her sister, Janet Boylan. She is survived by her three siblings, Emily Krum of Whiting, Roy Gilbert and wife Debra of New Egypt and Ida Greeley and husband William of Browns Mills. Edna is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Enda will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 10:00 AM at the Jacobstown Cemetery on Schoolhouse Road in Jacobstown under the direction of the Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt (www.TilghmanFH.com).
