Dorothy G. Idell, age 94 of North Hanover, passed away at home on Sunday, December 15, 2024. She was born in North Hanover to Annamarie and Walter Stiebritz on August 29, 1930 and was a lifelong resident of North Hanover, Wrightstown. Dorothy was raised on her family farm and loved gardening, canning, and caring for her animals. She enjoyed baking, especially during the holidays, when she would make her Christmas Stolen. Dorothy loved Westerns, Roy Rogers, and Dale Evans. She spent many years driving a school bus for Northern Burlington School District before retiring.

Dorothy is survived by her son Walter Idell, her daughter Dale Goff, her sister Linda Kolb, and her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 2:00pm until the service at 3:00pm at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Dorothy's name to Lighthouse Hospice located at 200 Lake Drive East, Suite 205, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.
