Donald J. Butala, 65, formerly of Jackson, NJ, passed away on August 13, 2024 in his residence in New Holland, PA. Born in Laurence Harbor, NJ, he was the son of Lawrence Butala Sr. and Mary T. (Jankowski) Butala.

He was the husband of Kara L. (Long) Butala, with whom he married on December 8, 1989 and shared 34 years of marriage.

He was a carpenter for 25 years and was employed by Union Valley, PRC Group and K. Hovnanian. He enjoyed making wood crafts, listening to music, attending concerts, going on cruises and visiting Lancaster County, prior to moving there.

Donald is survived by his wife, Kara, his mother, Mary, his brother, Lawrence Jr., husband of Margaret Butala, his beloved chow chow Baxter and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends who loved him dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Kindly omit flowers.
