David C. "DeDe" Nixon, Jr., age 41, of Wall Twp. passed away Wednesday, May 23. Born in Lakewood, he resided in Wall for the past 20 years. DeDe was a real people person who loved to receive attention. He enjoyed going on boat rides and being near the water. But most of all he loved his mom. DeDe was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Norman VonSchmidt, Sr. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Jeanne and Erik Snyder of Waretown; his father and step-mother, David and Bonnie Nixon of Deltona, FL; a brother, Jason "Freddie" Nixon and wife Jennifer of Vincentown; a sister, Dominique Daniels of Browns Mills; two step-brothers, Ryan Snyder of New Hanover and Michael Ross, Jr. of Florida; two step-sisters, Erika Snyder of Salisbury, MD and Michele Jean Ross Stradling of Tabernacle; his maternal grandmother, Margaret VonSchmidt of Waretown; his paternal grandparents, George and Louise Nixon of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Jason Nixon, Madison Nixon, Brandon Nixon and Savannah Thomas and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours for DeDe will be held on Saturday, May 26 from 10:00 AM until Noon at the Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
