Christopher Estwan

Christopher “Chris” Estwan, age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, September 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on July 10, 1965, to the late Stephen and Barbara Estwan.

Chris dedicated 35 years of his life to serving as a Corrections Officer with Mercer County Corrections before retiring from a fulfilling career. While he took great pride in his work, his greatest joy was his family. He treasured the time he spent with his loved ones and created countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Chris had a deep love for the outdoors, especially camping, where he enjoyed spending time in nature and making memories with family and friends. He also gave generously of his time to his community as a volunteer and commissioner with the Groveville Fire Company. His compassion extended to animals as well, and his beloved pets held a special place in his heart and were truly members of his family.

Chris was predeceased by his parents, Stephen and Barbara Estwan.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Christine (Coughlin) Estwan; his children, Stephanie Sexton and Michael Estwan; his cherished grandson, Wyatt; his siblings, Stephen Estwan, Barbara Estwan, and Susan Estwan; as well as many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Chris will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love of the outdoors, his commitment to his community, and the kindness he showed to the people and animals he cared for.

A celebration of Chris’s life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Tilghman Funeral Home in New Egypt.
