Chester H. Pine, Sr., age 80, longtime area resident of Cookstown, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly. He was born on August 3, 1942 in Mercer County to the late Harold and Bertha (nee Huston) Pine. Chester worked as a machine operator. He liked to tinker around with things, and was a jack of all trades. Chester had knowledge about everything. He was always helping his family. Chester loved all his dogs. He was a simple man. Chester was a loving father, brother, uncle and friend that will be deeply missed.

Chester is predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty Lou Pine; his parents, Harold and Bertha Pine; and by his four siblings, Johnny Pine, Butch Pine, Grace Delancey, and Nancy Kleinfelter. He leaves behind his three children, Chester H. Pine, Jr. and wife Kathleen of Cookstown, Tammy Asay and husband Kenneth of Whiting, and Wanda Davis and husband Joseph of Lumberton; his sister, Irene Starr and husband Pete of Browns Mills; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Chester who has been reunited with his loving wife Betty Lou, who passed away in 2005 on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
