Catherine Hakos, age 63, of New Egypt, passed away on November 1, 2023 at home. She was born in Atlantic City on August 3, 1960 to Harold and Joan Morey. Cathy was a longtime resident of New Egypt.

She was always a ray of sunshine in a dark room and would do anything for anyone, anytime, day or night. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. May her love continue to shine down on all of us.

Cathy was a very loving and caring daughter, sister, wife, aunt, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Predeceased by her mother Joan and her sister Lillian, Cathy is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Paul; her son Paul Shawn (Sara); nephews, Edgar (Michelle), Benjamin (Maria), and Paul Allen; her sisters, Corrine and Dottie; her brothers, Fred and Calvin; her 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons, with 1 on the way.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 9:30am until 10:30am at Tilghman Funeral Home 52 Main Street New Egypt, NJ 08533. A commital service and burial will follow at the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Cathy may be made to the charity of your choosing
