Barbara L. Thomas, age 74, longtime resident of Lumberton, formerly of Marlton, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills. She was born on May 9, 1948 in Camden City to the late Raymond and Marie (nee Flannagan) Thomas. Barbara retired after over 27 years as a secretary from Burlington County Institute of Technology located in Medford. She was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan who enjoyed going to games every chance she could. Barbara liked to get together with her friends from work or family and go out to eat or get together for a glass of wine. She adored her friends and family above everything. Barbara was a loving, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, God Mother, and friend that will be deeply missed.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Marie Thomas. She leaves behind her sister, Kelly Thomas of Florida; and countless nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Barbara on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 9 AM to 11 AM at Tilghman Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, New Egypt, NJ 08533 with a memorial service starting at 11 AM. Following the service the family invites everyone to meet at 12 PM at Dadz Bar and Grill located at 744 Main Street Lumberton, NJ 08048. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's name can be made to the American Heart Association located at 7272 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231 (www.heart.org).
