Alice V. Mullen, age 88, of New Egypt passed away Saturday, February 19 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hamilton Township on May 22, 1933 to the late Alice and Fred Schmidt, she had been a resident of New Egypt since 1955.

Alice attended and was Valedictorian of Greenwood School in Hamilton and graduated with honors from Hamilton High School in 1951. She sang in the choir in their local church on Sundays. Alice worked for a brief time at the Bank of Mid-Jersey in New Egypt but mostly she worked at being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all.

Alice was predeceased by her parents and by a brother, Wayne Schmidt. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerreard A. Mullen, they would have celebrated their 67th Anniversary in June. She is also survived by her three children, Kevin Mullen and wife Patrice, Lisa Mullen Birkner and husband James, Tracy and husband Tom; grandchildren, Jared Mullen, Jeremy Cranmer and wife Casandra, Alicia Cranmer, Katey, Tommy and Johnny; and great grandchildren, James, Leah, Abigail and Sophia Cranmer and Shelby Baskan.

Funeral services for Alice will be private with burial in the Jacobstown Cemetery in Jacobstown.
